Great Gorgon took about 1.5m damage before going down, and Rasputin is coded to heal so fast you can only kill it with a ram.Įverything else was the same as far as we could tell. The only actual difference we noticed was that the two named NPCs (Great Gorgon and Rasputin) had more HP. Our mixed-clan group on voice comms four-starred it never having seen it before, and five-starred it comfortably immediately after. I've hidden the exact differences between last year's Normal and the Hard mode encounter that we played tonight behind this spoiler tag in case anyone hasn't yet experienced the encounter, but the short story is, it's very little. However, Sunray in the Darkness (Hard) is not it. I have been looking forward to the addition of challenging PvE content for some time now, as I feel this game has room for some good and interesting organized raid-style content. For those who are not aware, Sunray in the Darkness (Hard) is currently available to 7-player divisions through the Other Scenarios button even though the regular version remains locked for the time being. One of the features I was most looking forward to in this patch was the addition of the first Hard Mode scenarios to the game, namely Sunray in the Darkness and the yet-to-be-released Terror of the Deep.
